Leadership is broken. And it is breaking the people trying to carry it.

The Leadership Reset is for leaders who have become the person everything runs through, and are ready to lead another way.

The Leadership Reset by Lyn Corbett, PhD
What you do won't change the world. How you lead will.

About the book

The book opens with Lance Carter, a mission-driven CEO running on empty, who unexpectedly runs into James Ellison. James was his old boss. Brilliant, relentless, a master of control, and the kind of leader Lance spent his career determined not to become.

James is different now. What starts as a coffee becomes a year of Tuesday mornings, and a series of conversations about trust, fatigue, silence, culture, and what it actually costs to lead without presence.

Part story, part strategy. It does not teach performance, it teaches presence. It does not offer easy answers, it offers the courage to ask better questions. And it does not set out to fix you. It reminds you who you were before the job started asking you to be someone else.

Readers finish with a way to build cultures of trust rather than control, to use silence as strategy and values as compass, and to face the six questions most leaders avoid.

"A rare combination of practical wisdom, real‑life experience and soulful reflection."
